Rotorua Coachman Spa Motel

The private hot tub provided great relaxation after our busy days. The toilet wouldn't lock , concerning.

Location and off street parking, clean.

The room was clean however in need of an update. Very dated.

Fantastic Rooms, clean and spacious.

Would have been great for hostess to orientate guests' to room on arrival.

The electric blanket was a cozy touch, perfect for warming the bed. The hot pressure in the shower was fantastic after a day of exploring nearby attractions. Plus, the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals.

Nice hotel for the price, and what makes it really special is the lovely couple that run it. They have a real "nothing is a problem" attitude, which is much appreciated when you're tired and stressed from business and travelling!

decent size and airy unit with a convenient decor. all in all perfect location, just next door to a great restaurant called urbano bistro, tourist spots and rotorua after a long drive across the world forgotten highway from stratford much of need of a good night's rest.

We loved our stay! The hot tub was amazing, and the room was spacious and well-equipped. the shower didn't close properly, which was a bit of a letdown.

Large room, comfy bed and great-sized bathroom. Unbeatable location close to all the major tourist sites and the center of Rotorua and also the Whakarewarewa village. Also, handy to all attractions.

the room was family-friendly and well-appointed and what's more - included a hairdryer, a spa bathtub and bath sheets. the bed was comfortable with electric blankets. location: the hotel was just next door to a great restaurant called urbano bistro, and geothermal attractions, redwoods and lady knox geyser. popped in d bar for shots before sleep, it was at a moderate distance from the venue.

Staff were super friendly the hot tub was perfect after a busy day. Good location near gardens and forests made it easy to explore.

Could've used more heating in the room but overall a solid stay.

old style bathroom

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at this property and have thoroughly enjoyed both times. First time we had a king suite and this time a 1 bedroom suite - both with kitchens and spas and importantly, comfortable beds. We tend to be very lazy on holiday - get up late! So, its great not being "rushed out" by the housekeeping staff in order that they may service the room. They always seemed happy to accommodate our lazy holiday. Relief managers Bernie & Joyce were on duty this time and they maintained the high standard we had experienced on our first visit. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location and price are both good and we would choose to stay here again.

Whereas the upstairs suites are bright (especially the end ones - because of the windows). We found the middle downstair 1 bedroom suites a bit on the dark side - and the bathroom rather small (although it was ok for 2 people). However, even though the 1 b/r suite is advertised as capable of accommodating 4-5 people, I think it would lessen the comfort for more than 3 people.

the staff is very helpful and they made me feel welcomed. the room had musty odors.
